Enable our Machine Learning team to own, drive, and innovate on the core models and ML platforms that power ResearchGate. These technologies allow us to leverage a research graph (petabyte scale) of 25mln+ users, 160+ million publications, 2+ billion citations and more to improve scientists’ productivity.</span></div></div><div><div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><ul><li>Motivate, develop and enable a team 4-6 data scientists and data engineers to tackle difficult Machine Learning challenges around modeling, scale, availability and quality </li><li>Collaboratively define, communicate and execute a technical strategy that focuses your team efforts on the most impactful work in harmony with company goals</li><li>Act as a technical product owner, continuously gathering and prioritizing internal needs in alignment with our company strategy</li><li>Take responsibility for hiring and onboarding new colleagues</li><li>Create a high performance and positive work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust</li><li>Evangelize the organization to drive ML-based innovation</li></ul></ul></div></div><div><div><h3>Your Experience</h3><ul><ul><li>5+ years of experience in data science or ML engineering role</li><li>3+ years of experience as a people manager</li><li>Strong proficiency with Python and SQL</li><li>Strong understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle and/or experience in designing data-intensive ML products</li><li>Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP is a plus)</li><li>Excellent communication and prioritization skills</li><li>Ability to translate business requirements into ML models</li></ul></ul></div></div><div><div><b>Life at ResearchGate</b></div><div><br></div><div>You'll be working in an open and empowered company culture, with the chance to individually shape your professional development and growth.
