Be part of our success story and change the world by joining us!</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><ul><li>Leading the development of mounting structures for Enpal’s PV systems on standard roofs and flat roofs, and continuously explore mounting structures suitable for new roof types and tiles.</li><li>Performing and/or supervising FEM simulations of mechanical parts with the goal to comply with all snow load and wind load requirements and other applicable regulations in the Enpal service area while keeping environment and cost aspects in mind.  </li><li>Evaluating NPS scores for installation convenience and installation speed on current and new mechanical parts.</li><li>Responsible for full documentation related to Enpal’s mounting structures, including third-party approval of calculation methods, installation manuals and mechanical load calculations.</li><li>Designing guideline and standards (DFX criteria) which includes Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Volume (DFV)</li><li>Develop a product roadmap and create basic designs for co-development with partners.</li><li>Coordinate test installation for evaluation of design samples based on standard evaluation metrics.</li><li>Close collaboration/support with/of Commercial and Operation Business Units at Enpal for product development and go-to market strategies.</li><li>Lead the continuous hardware improvement process of Enpal’s mounting structures in terms of hardware cost and installation speed, and execute value analysis and value engineering (VAVE).</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>Solar / Energy / Mechanical Engineering background.</li><li>5+ years of hands-on product development experience<em> </em>in Mechanical hardware design, development, and project management in both large and small-to-medium organizations.</li><li>University degree in mechanical engineering, construction engineering, or similar.</li><li>Track record bringing winning products to market and ability to collaborate with Quality Management, Suppliers, and Operations.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management in mechanical, regulatory, prototyping, validation, and test areas.</li><li>Ability to identify and execute technology roadmaps.</li><li>Fluent in English.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><ul><li>Work in Germany's first green unicorn and actively shape the solar energy revolution. </li><li>The sun shines all over the world - at Enpal you will find a highly motivated and diverse team with more than 65 different nationalities. </li><li>Would you rather keep your pet company at home or your colleagues at the office?
