Welcome to Bosch.</strong></p><p>The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application!</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><p>Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) are used in many applications in everyday life, such as inertial sensors in smartphones, wearables, hearables, smart glasses, or cars. In addition to sensing, MEMS technologies can also perform actuator functionalities in radio frequency (RF) circuits to switch signal lines or to tune reactive loads. Leveraging benefits of RF-MEMS like high quality factor, low loss and very high linearity require adequate component design.</p><ul><li>As a develpment engineer you will design, model and simulate micromechanical (piezo)acoustic components and electrical components, like integrated capacitors and acoustic wave resonators in the RF domain.</li><li>In addition, you develop and evaluate novel concepts for filters and multiplexers and solve multi physics issues. Therefore, you improve our physical understanding, implement it into our models and use big data methods to find yet unknown correlations.</li><li>You coordinate and organize MEMS design phases while being responsible for the verification of designs and simulation models.</li><li>Last but not least you collaborate intensively with the Bosch research team Renningen (CR) and experts from experiment and fabrication technologies.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education</strong>: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable subject</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge</strong>: professional experience with modelling (physical equation, lumped element, reduced order) and numerical simulation (FEM, FDTD) of components in the RF domain and piezo electric/acoustic domain; with micro components and its application in embedded systems, preferably experience with micro technologies and MEMS fabrication technologies</li><li><strong>Personality and Working Practice:</strong> self-motivated, open-minded, team player, strong communication skills, innovative, analytical, structured, and result-oriented</li><li><strong>Languages</strong>: fluent in English written and spoken, German is a plus</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p>You want to work remotely or part-time - we offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models or job-sharing.
