Join our optical engineering department to advance features in smart glasses, optical environmental sensing and other applications that will boggle your mind. With your expertise in embedded systems and signal processing, you will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what is technically possible.</p><ul><li>As part of the Software Engineering team, you develop software components, set up prototype platforms, integrate software algorithms, debug, benchmark and optimize our next generation smart sensor systems.</li><li>Understand software as part of the complete hardware and software system comprising sensors, signals, busses, interrupts, timers and so on.</li><li>Exploit and push performance boundaries for resource constrained MCU based devices with limited computing power / memory footprint.</li><li>As an active part of your agile team you create versatile embedded SW applications by interacting with our experts from various departments - never loosing focus on customer needs. Review the design and code developed by your peer engineers.</li><li>With your embedded experience, you support algorithm developers optimizing their algorithms and generated code.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Personality:</strong> You convince and inspire others with your ideas and are a positive team player with experience working in multicultural teams. You are curious about innovation and enjoy the dynamics of consumer electronics</li><li><strong>Working Practice: </strong>High level of interdisciplinary teamwork, customer orientation, creative drive and entrepreneurial mindset</li><li><strong>Experience: </strong>Solid knowledge and several years of working experience in embedded software systems on several microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M and others), optimizing and debugging techniques, development in C, fulfilling real time requirements is a must.
