With us, you will shape a career that is truly forward-facing with many amazing opportunities and offerings to match.</p><p><em>But there is more work to be done – that is why we need you to join!</em></p><p>If you are a Technical Manager within wind power with experience from Germany, then we want to hear from you!</p><p>As Technical Manager in Germany you will be supporting the wind projects from the early start of development and until operation.</p><p>You will be responsible for the technical decisions taken in the project development</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><ul><li>Manage the technical workstreams, in support of the project manager, from early development until start of operation of the wind farm.</li><li>Act as a technical expert within either wind turbines, grid connection or civil engineering</li><li>Participate in interactions with wind turbine suppliers to ensure best market knowledge.</li><li>Technical lead in due diligences of potential acquisitions.</li><li>Prepare and quality assure technical specifications in wind turbine tenders.</li></ul><ul><li>Technical lead during procurement processes</li><li>Act as work package responsible for wind turbine and/or BOP contracts in the construction phase</li></ul><ul><li>Support other units in Statkraft as required with technical competence and understanding.</li><li>Manage technical disciplines in a project.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>Master’s degree in engineering with documented extensive experience in the field</li><li>Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in wind projects development and construction, and preferably in Germany. The following specific experience considered to be advantageous:<ul><li>Onshore wind project or technical management experience from the pre-construction and finance stages to construction and operation.</li><li>Onshore wind technical advisor and due diligence experience for onshore wind projects, portfolio sales, and acquisitions.</li><li>Technical specialist or sales manager experience with a wind turbine manufacturer.</li></ul></li><li>Strong understanding of the development process for wind projects, including constraints analysis, civil engineering, grid connection processes and permitting process</li><li>Knowledge of wind turbine suppliers and wind turbine models is an advantage.</li><li>Commercial acumen and understanding of renewable energy business models and cost of energy drivers.</li><li>Collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated ability to negotiate a strong commercial position for the company with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Independent self-starter with a clear ability to manage a large workload, often providing support to processes managed by colleagues, while prioritizing tasks and effectively juggling competing deadlines</li><li>Proactive and solution-oriented with attention to detail</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English</li><li>Experience and interest in taking on project manager role of early phase development and /or the construction phase of a wind project is also of interest.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p>A career in Statkraft is filled with purpose – meaning that every employee is not just making a living, they are making a real difference to the planet, our communities and the future.
