<div><h1><strong>About the Job</strong></h1> <p>We’re looking for a motivated <strong>Junior Finance &amp; Controlling Manager (m/f/d)</strong> to join one of our portfolio companies. In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on streamlining financial processes, implementing effective controlling systems, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal and external financial standards.</p> <p>Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.</p> <h2><strong>In this role, you’ll:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Prepare financial reports, KPIs and presentations for C-Level and investor reporting</li> <li>Oversee the process of and ensure smooth cooperation with the company’s external tax office</li> <li>Develop measures and provide guidance to the organisation to optimise net working capital potential</li> <li>Lead, coordinate, steer and monitor forecast and budget processes</li> <li>Continuously improve financial processes while creating and documenting structures that streamline workflows, save time, and foster transparency</li> </ul> <h2>Typical tasks:</h2> <ul> <li>Support bookkeeping by managing pre-accounting through recording and processing financial transactions with our portfolio company’s Spend Management tool</li> <li>Keep an eye on achieving revenue and profitability goals within agreed spendings</li> <li>Track, analyse and report Plan / Actual variances</li> <li>Prepare liquidity planning reports and communicate cash balance and cash flow to management</li> <li>Monitor and analyse cash flow via Agicap</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Your Profile</strong></h2> <ul> <li>First working experience (internships or full-time) in a fast-growing environment/company</li> <li>Strong interest in Finance and Controlling with an eagerness to learn and grow in the field</li> <li>Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with financial tools is a plus</li> <li>Proactively take initiative and ownership for projects and processes</li> <li>Hands-on mentality, structured and organised, and enjoy working operationally</li> <li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English (required); knowledge of German is advantageous</li> </ul> <p>Please note that we’re looking for support in the <strong>Munich</strong> office of our portfolio company.
