<h2>THE OPPORTUNITY</h2>
<p><strong>Can you imagine diving into the development of the software and components for and around our innovative mobile indoor mapping system, operated by companies in more than 25 countries worldwide?</strong>  </p>
<p><strong>You will join <strong>the Mapping and Perception department</strong>, and collaborate closely with people from a diverse set of cultural and professional backgrounds, who share a passion for delivering top-class mapping solutions that aim to digitize physical spaces through the creation of photorealistic digital twins. <h2>THE TEAM'S MISSION THIS YEAR</h2>
<p>To elevate our software solutions used in mapping entire buildings and creating realistic 3D representations based on cutting-edge technology in the area of robotics.</p>
<h2>HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>
<ul>
<li>You will create and develop state-of-the-art software testing methodologies and processes which assure and advance the quality of our mapping devices</li>
<li>You will carry out the manual tests for software releases in both regular but also explorative manner</li>
<li>You will work on planning, designing, and specification and development of test strategies, test dashboards, and reports to enable frequent releases of high quality</li>
<li>You will support the development team in the implementation of high-quality tests</li>
<li>You will validate reported bugs systematically, perform data analysis and interpret test results</li>
<li>You will work on prioritizing, debugging, and monitoring bugs to speed up the process as a crucial part of an energetic and fast-paced product development team</li>
<li>You will closely collaborate with key stakeholders in other teams working on support and services</li>
</ul>
<h2>WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE</h2>
<ul>
<li>A background in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related areas</li>
<li>At least 3 years of hands-on experience with test execution but also quality assurance processes (test case planning, issue tracking, regression, and isolation testing)</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of integration testing and test automation</li>
<li>Experience with Linux and its command line</li>
<li>Experience with the hardware of sensors like laser scanners, IMUs, and cameras</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills in English</li>
<li>Working on test automation using scripting languages like Python</li>
<li>Experience with testing embedded devices or hardware, in general, would be nice to have</li>
<li>ISTQB certification is highly appreciated but not a must</li>
</ul>
