Are you ready to take part in defining a direction for a completely new initiative and face the opportunity to build a new real-time solution for 20M+ users? If you said “Yes, yes and definitely yes”, then come and join our new team on a mission to build a completely new instant messaging platform for our support.<br><br>In a nutshell, the team is building a brand new support chat tool. World-class customer service is one of the cornerstones of Wolt 💙 <br>The quality of communication between our team and our customers and partners is essential as it determines how fast and accurately we can respond to inquiries and solve emerging problems. At Wolt, we currently serve over 20M+ monthly users and they love to chat with us, a lot. <br><br>Challenges include real-time messaging, ensuring that messages are reliably stored and delivered, and designing and building a conversations inbox with prioritization, attachment, and push notification systems. And that’s just to start with.<br>Node.js is the main backend programming language of the team, while frontends are built in React/TypeScript.<br><br>As a Team Lead, you'll be an inspirer, facilitator, and an enabler for the team to do what they do best, by running the weekly cycle of the team, making personal development plans, hosting regular 1on1s, working closely with the Product Lead and taking part in recruitment. Don’t let the ‘lead’ bit fool you; team leads are our teams’ guides, not managers.
