We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Rakuten Mobile business in Germany.This role will work closely with business leaders through the development and implementation of a HR plan that drives business outcomes. The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing HR programs, considering the unique needs of our internal customers and in close partnership with our HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Global Total Rewards, HR Delivery &amp; shared services, Global Talent Management and Inclusion, Employee Relations) as well as global HR team. This individual will be responsible for helping to strengthen the effectiveness of our people managers by providing coaching, counsel and guidance to further develop their managerial capability and impact. Responsibilities will be broad and a mix of strategic and tactical tasks: consulting on HR matters, people manager coaching &amp; development, performance and talent management, global mobility, organizational realignment and talent acquisition, retention &amp; reward strategies, and HR program development and implementation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Build trust-based relationships with Rakuten Mobile employees and the internal HR teams in a matrixed organization</li><li>Execute people programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, leadership coaching and development, organizational design, team effectiveness, and more.</li><li>Partner with Business leaders to provide thought leadership regarding change management, organizational strategy and execution that's aligned with business strategies.</li><li>Support managers and employees by leveraging people programs, processes and systems, educating on policies and best practices.</li><li>Design and facilitate programs that develop staff &amp; managers at all levels</li><li>Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations in a consistent, empathetic, and legally sound manner.</li><li>Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.</li><li>Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.</li><li>Consults with line management and employees, providing HR guidance on a variety of topics including policy interpretation and career development.</li><li>Provides day-to-day performance guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions).</li><li>Work with immigration specialists on visa applications, relocations and transfers.</li><li>Manage &amp; sign off local payroll amendments.</li><li>Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling</li><li>Partner and leverage COEs and HR Shared Services to implement HR programs and drive efficiency</li><li>Keep up-to-date knowledge of employment law requirements to ensure Rakuten remains compliant.</li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
