<div>Rakuten Symphony Germany is building a nationwide mobile network based on Rakuten’s SymWorld Platform successfully deployed in Japan and developed in Singapore. SymWorld fully virtualized, cloud-native telco cloud platform. Rakuten Symphony also partners with research organizations, start-ups, and SMEs through its Network Innovation Lab to further OpenRAN technologies and build autonomous networks of the future. We are looking for a Security Architect to join our Security team in Germany to advice technology teams in designing and implementing security architectures and controls. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Act as a Security Ambassador deployed into the core network and RAN teams during phases of technology creation and deployment</li><li>Work with technology teams to architect, design, prioritize, coordinate, and communicate the security technologies necessary to ensure a highly secure yet usable computing environment</li><li>Conduct security maturity assessments to evaluate existing security designs and controls, identify weaknesses and make recommendations</li><li>Provide guidance to technical teams in fixing security issues, for example around secure coding and user awareness</li></ul> Requirements: · 3+ years of work experience as a security expert in a telco network environment<ul><li>Solid understanding of 4G/5G mobile network components</li><li>Familiarity with attacks and risks related to packet core, IMS, interconnect, OpenRAN, femtocells and SIM cards</li><li>Experience with network segregation (SDN/VRF/VLAN/Firewalls)</li><li>Capability to analyze and suggest a secure design for API integrations</li><li>Knowledge of Linux, virtualization, containers and security standards (3GPP, BSI)</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus</li></ul> Nice to have:<ul><li>Experience with edge clouds and multi-cluster cloud environments</li><li>Understanding of OSS, BSS, LI, CBS functions</li></ul> RAKUTEN SHUGI PRINCIPLESOur worldwide practices describe specific behaviors that make Rakuten unique and united across the world.
