#LI-Hybrid</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><p>We are looking for our next Android mobile developer to join the Content Delivery team that owns the main user-facing sections of our application, including the home screen and its content.</p><p>As an Android Developer you’ll be working on the very app that millions of people in over 20 countries around the world see when ordering food and other products in Wolt. Our app is top-rated and we place a high value on an awesome end-user experience as well as a cutting-edge UI.</p><p>You’ll be joining an end-to-end team, which means you and your teammates will have ownership of the design and development process in its entirety. Some of the challenges you will face are related to performance and optimisation, implementing custom UIs and animations to deliver content that will welcome and engage the end-user, and ensuring a smooth experience through the most visually impactful sections of the application.</p><p>This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki, Stockholm or Berlin, or you can work remotely anywhere in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Estonia. Our codebase is in Kotlin, so you should feel at home with the language, preferably you should also be familiar with Jetpack Compose and some of the other latest features of the Android platform.</p><p>Quality is something we strive for in every aspect of app development from the user interface, to having a maintainable architecture and source code, so experience with testing processes is expected. Implementing automated unit &amp; UI testing and collaborating with our excellent QA engineers to prevent regressions will be part of your daily work.</p><p>We hope you are eager to develop seamless native app experiences and beautiful custom UIs that are key to our consumer experience here in Wolt and one we are passionate to keep world class.</p><p>You should also have excellent communication skills and, ideally, have some experience working in a large multi-team development environment.
