<h2>About the role:</h2>
<p>We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to work across our payment teams. The perfect candidate is a Java expert, who loves complex domains and is comfortable taking ownership and implementing strategy. In this role you can expect to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Create, own and maintain a testing strategy for the whole domain.</li>
<li>Create end-2-end tests and integration tests for Billie’s payment system.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers to ensure quality standards across the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).</li>
<li>Constantly improve the quality of processes, and actively review existing Test Automation scenarios.</li>
<li>Coach and mentor software engineers.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Who we are looking for:</h2>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in Test Automation.</li>
<li>3+ years using Java as your main programming language.</li>
<li>Experience maintaining quality in distributed systems architecture.</li>
<li>Experience writing test cases (in TestRail or other Test Case Management system).</li>
<li>Ability to understand complex systems.</li>
<li>Direct experience with testing web interfaces and APIs.</li>
<li>Experience and drive to implement strategy and mentor others.</li>
<li>Experience in the FinTech or Banking domain is a plus.</li>
