You have the opportunity to change between projects and domains to extend your horizons.</li><li>Furthermore, you develop reference and open source Linux device drivers for existing and future embedded hardware.</li><li>Finally, you support the development of software components for the Android HAL to interface with the Linux sub-systems</li></ul><p>This position can be occupied at any of the locations Reutlingen or Stuttgart.<br>Remote Work is possible, though presence on-side is frequently required.</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong>Completed university studies (Bachelor/Master's/Diploma) in computer science, embedded systems or a comparable course of study</li><li><strong>Personality and Working Practice: </strong>future-oriented, motivated, responsible, independent, dynamic, adaptive, team player</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge: </strong>Experience in Linux kernel/device driver development; Experience with Android system development (HAL, middleware) is an advantage; profound programming skills in C/C++ for embedded software; additional language skills, Bash, Python or Java, etc. are an advantage; proficient with Linux/Android development environment, with knowledge about how to build/deploy/debug on hardware; Experience in contributing to open source projects is appreciated</li><li><strong>Enthusiasm: </strong>passion for software</li><li><strong>Languages: </strong>good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken</li></ul><p>Application deadline up to and including 10th of October 2022</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p>Apply now in just 3 minutes!</p><p>You want to work remotely or part-time - we offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models.
