Our goal: To be able to take your hands off the steering wheel and reach your destination safely and without stress.</p><p>Become as Software Developer part of our unique project with over 1,000 employees worldwide and develop first-class software for the future together with us today!You are self-motivated and bring fun &amp; joy for technical challenging topics.</p><ul><li>You design &amp; specify the structure and content of the map data stack required for assisted and automated drivng according to customer &amp; stakeholder requirements.</li><li>Thanks to your expertise you optimize the map creation process according to performance metrics.</li><li>You design and implement scalable algorithms for our map technology stack in a large-scale &amp; distributed map service framework operating on real-world fleet data.</li><li>As Senior Python Software Developer  you integrate developed algorithms and software modules into the cloud platform processing large amounts of data along the complete data lifecycle.</li><li>Furthermore you are responsible for regular code reviews and feedback of other software components developed by other team members to ensure a high quality code-base.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong>Master/diploma/PhD in the field of computer science, IT, electrical engineering or other related studies, ideally with a focus on navigation &amp; map provisioning.</li><li><strong>Personality and working practice: </strong>You have excellent communication skills along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, you already collaborated with other developers, from discussing high level approaches to code reviews and pair programming. With your motivation to work on challenging problems in an agile environment as well as to implement modular and scalable solutions to address those problems, you understand the importance of documentation, consistent coding styles, modularization, automation, agile and test-driven development.</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge: </strong>Several years of experience in large-scale Python projects with a focus on clean code. Proven experience in developing data processing and CI/CD pipelines in a cloud context. Basic experience in data analysis including statistics and visualization. The following skills are a plus: Experience with distributed systems and databases; backend development including API design following DevOps best practices; experience with C++/Python integration.
