Many factors have an impact on the quality of the marketplace experience, the most prevalent is the users quality, seriousness, and engagement of the marketplace themselves, and the content and information (sale / rent listings, buyers projects descriptions, agencies presentations …) they produce by the means of this use. </p><p>The Marketplace Design Domain is about designing and developing all curation, penalty/reward, gamification, rating, scoring, and matching mechanisms that ensure the engagement of our users is constantly pushed up, and the quality of our content is constantly improving. As all of these capabilities are heavily data-powered, the Marketplace Design Team is also responsible for Data Governance, Modelling, Quality and the Data Platform and key Data-sets management for the whole AVIV.</p><p><strong>WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO CAN:</strong></p><ul><li>You will join the Data Operations Group in Marketplace Design as a Product Manager, with a specific focus on our Data Platform. </li><li>With the Data Platform engineering team, you will be empowered with full ownership and accountability to unlock data handling across Aviv. </li><li>Your stakeholders and users are internal and range across all levels from analysts, to scientists and engineers who rely on common guidelines and tooling to store, process, automate, and access data. </li><li>As Aviv has undertaken an ambitious move towards a distributed Data Mesh architecture, you will have a direct impact on the success of the organisation as a whole.</li><li>As a Product Manager, you are more specifically focused on delivering the highest possible value to your customers. Your action is guided by a set of metrics (usage of tools, data accessibility, data quality, compliance to policies, …) you strive to constantly adapt and enrich. </li><li>You keep a very tight relationship with your customers in order to stick with their needs, stay current with the usage patterns of the tools, and get feedback on new features and experimentations. </li><li>You work in close collaboration with the Data ModelLing team and Dataset teams (who provide respectively data models and analytic datasets to the rest of the organisation), as well as the Architecture, DevOps and Security teams in order to make the data mesh architecture a reality. </li><li>You act together with the Data Platform engineers as one team, putting a particular effort into sharing the vision, goals and success metrics you all aim at.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><p>AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS:</p><ul><li>A master’s degree in engineering or business or a related field and 5 years of experience in product management on data-extensive products</li><li>A strong customer centric mindset, with a very good understanding of data engineers, scientists and analysts needs</li><li>Rigorous metric-driven approach of product management</li><li>Skilled at working with international cross functional teams under a tight timeline</li><li>Familiar with the concepts behind the most common data tools and cloud platforms (preferred AWS)</li><li>The ability to communicate ambitious goals effectively while keeping the team</li><li>motivated</li><li>Strong understanding and promoter of data governance best practices</li><li>English proficiency in both spoken and written</li></ul><p><strong> Preferred </strong></p><ul><li>Fluent in a second european language (preferred French, German or Dutch)</li><li>Familiar with data architecture (and especially cell-based architecture) and the Data Mesh concept</li><li>Familiar with Data Management and Data Governance concepts and practices</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER YOU:</strong></p><ul><li>We are one of the leading PropTech platforms in Europe.
