Welcome to Bosch.</strong></p><p>The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application!</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><ul><li>As a software developer, you develop software for electrical end-of-line test stations and flash stations worldwide for the future generation of control units for autonomous and electric driving (such as radar, electric steering or inverters).</li><li>You are responsible for coordinating, aligning and setting standards in collaboration with development departments and test engineers regarding the design of test processes and requirements. Thereby you will ensure the most efficient implementation possible.</li><li>The definition of new software system architectures in the area of test procedures for serial ECU communication protocols is part of your field of expertise. You also help to design the Bosch Linux distribution for test systems.</li><li>Your tasks include the resource-saving and efficient C++ programming in the context of a RAM-based system with limited memory and computing resources.</li><li>You contribute to the achievement of project goals on a SCRUM team distributed over three locations in a shared code repository.</li><li>Last but not least, you perform code reviews in the context of pull requests and implement the product-independent standardization of the test engineering API for test system users.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in Engineering or Natural Sciences with focus on Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or a comparable course of study</li><li><strong>Personality: </strong>team-oriented, assertive, open to new and challenging topics</li><li><strong>Working Practice: </strong>self-reliant, independent, structured</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge: </strong>several years of professional experience in software development and in the field of automotive bus systems, bus systems (CAN, LIN, Flexray); knowledge of programming languages (C++, Bash and Phyton) and software engineering (object-oriented programming/design patterns); experience with unit testing (continuous integration (Jenkins), Docker, Bitbucket/GIT); experience with Linux and POSIX</li><li><strong>Enthusiasm: </strong>interest in technology and hardware-related software development</li><li><strong>Languages: </strong>business fluent in written and spoken German and English</li></ul><p> </p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p>Apply now in just 3 minutes!<br>
