To succeed in reaching our targets, we are seeking committed colleagues who can stand behind our core values curious, authentic and useful.</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><p>For our R&amp;D ENT Navigation team we are looking for a motivated Senior Project Manager!</p><p>ENT Navigation is a new department that is currently being established to drive forth Brainlab’s ambitions to establish new Navigation and Tracking Concepts based on innovative optical and magnetic tracking technologies.</p><p>The main responsibility of the position lies in the management of a complex systems engineering and software development project. As such, you will have several stakeholders and sub-project owners in other Brainlab R&amp;D departments.</p><p>After completion of the first implementation phase, we plan to expand the technology into other surgical disciplines and clinical fields such as cranial navigation, ENT endoscopy, robotic surgery and Mixed Reality.</p><p>As a Senior Project Manager in our R&amp;D ENT Navigation team you will:</p><ul><li>Manage R&amp;D projects covering the complete product development cycle of medical devices, from the conceptualization up to the (clinical) evaluation and market release of the product</li><li>Apply and establish best practices, including management of budget, timelines, project risks</li><li>Steer the project team and structure their work</li><li>Interact closely with a broad range of corporate functions (e.g. product management, QM and regulatory, purchasing), clinical end-users for defining product requirements as well as development partners and suppliers</li><li>Coordinate, define and execute verification and validation activities</li><li>Supervise the technical documentation according to our QMS</li><li>Drive the team towards creating clinical solutions which will make medical procedures more safe, more predictable and benefit patients in hospitals around the world</li><li>Provide guidance to the more junior team members</li></ul><p>You will be part of a highly motivated, dynamic team and have the opportunity to push the boundaries of magnetic and optical surgical navigation.</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>BSc / MSc degree in (medical) engineering or similar background</li><li>at least 5 years of relevant professional experience as well as profound project management experience in a highly regulated industry (ideally Medtech) </li><li>Ability to lead, manage and motivate cross-functional project teams</li><li>Excellent communications skills in English</li><li>Experience with ISO 13485 standards and regulatory requirements</li><li>Relevant experience / clinical knowledge in fields of surgical navigation (ideally ENT) is a strong plus</li><li>Well-organized, proactive and clearly structured working style</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><ul><li>A mutually-supportive, international team</li><li>Meaningful work with a lasting impact on medical technology</li><li>30 vacation days, plus December 24th and December 31st</li><li>Flexible working hours as well as hybrid work model within Germany</li><li>Bike leasing via cooperation partner "BikeLeasing"</li><li>Parking garage and safe underground bike storage</li><li>Award-winning subsidized company restaurant and in-house cafes</li><li>Variety-rich fitness program in our ultra-modern 360m2 company gym</li><li>Regular after work, team, and company events</li><li>Comprehensive training and continuing education opportunities</li></ul><p>Ready to apply?
