This is because we believe diverse teams make the most thought-through decisions and build things in the most inclusive way.</p><p>Join us today to build Wolt together!</p><p>#LI-EH2</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><p>We are looking for a Product Lead to join our Compliance product team. The Fintech group as a whole consists of four different teams which develop financial products for Wolt covering the end to end process of fund movements, invoicing, VAT, internal controls, compliance, payouts and User Interfaces for a varying group of users who manage all things finance. The Compliance team maintains standardized processes for the master data related to our financial processes, mainly focused on KYC / KYB in our different markets.</p><p>As a Product Lead in the Compliance team, you will play an active role in defining the vision and strategy for your team’s portfolio of products. You will be working directly with a team of developers, other product teams and occasionally with consultants or software providers to achieve your product success. Our product teams work on a global scale, so you will collaborate with the restaurant &amp; retail teams in different markets where Wolt is operating, as well as the relevant product and legal stakeholders in defining the features. Furthermore, you define and analyze relevant performance metrics that ensure the success of Wolt's products, which are regularly recognized as the best in the industry. The growth possibilities are endless to you and we are looking to indulge you with a lot of ownership and responsibility, and you'll have the opportunity to work with arguably the best product management team in Finland.</p><p>In your day to day, you might for example develop Merchant due diligence flows for all Wolt markets in order to verify Merchant user identity and verify their business information, you might for example be designing and implementing more efficient ways of tracking and reporting on what’s happening in our ecosystem into entries usable by the finance teams, build and maintain the tools and processes that ensure compliance over our financial data, build tools to support transaction monitoring &amp; sanctions screening, or implement internal controls for Merchant and Courier payouts. The projects you and the team will be working on will impact every Merchant in our platform, and we’ll work with a wide range of people in order to deliver our vision.</p><p>As a Product Lead, you will work with a cross-functional team of engineering, design, finance, data and analytics in a high visibility role. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap, prioritisation and setting the vision for the team. This involves leading multiple projects and cross-team product initiatives across the entire product lifecycle, partnering with business and operational stakeholders as well as understanding and analysing financial product needs.</p><p>This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in <strong>Helsinki, Stockholm or Berlin,</strong> or you can work remotely anywhere in <strong>Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Estonia</strong>. Read more about our remote setup <a href="https://blog.wolt.com/hq/2021/03/23/new-remote-setup-at-wolt-product-work-from-anywhere-in-finland-germany-denmark-estonia/">here</a>. 🌍</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><p>You could come to this role from a multitude of different backgrounds, but ideally, you have </p><ul><li>Plenty of previous experience as a Product Lead / Product Manager, preferably in fintech space  -  you know what it takes to develop great financial products </li><li>Experience working with compliance projects  - you have some understanding of for example KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and other due diligence topics</li><li>You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have proven ability to influence cross-functional teams</li><li>A mixture of data analysis skills, engineering understanding and business savvy with the go-getter attitude of a "could-be start-up CEO" </li><li>Expertise in how to work with and coach cross-functional teams, at least with developers, finance, data experts and with engineering teams</li><li>Relevant education such as BSc from business or finance could be a big plus, but we are ready to be convinced otherwise</li></ul><p>It may sound like we are looking for a unicorn (which we probably are), but we believe in unicorns - we are looking for the perfect fit to support us taking our product to the next level. Overall our product consists of a team of 400 people at Wolt and 30 product management experts.
