You will be able to take responsibility in the complete creation process from the innovation idea to the product. You will join a growing international team that works in an agile and self-empowered way to deliver software modules and robot prototypes. In this context, you will explore and evaluate a broad spectrum of robotic platforms from consumer and professional use-cases, as well as applications in the areas of Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT).<br>The Renningen research campus features excellent lab facilities for robotic and smart home research as well as leisure areas and space to innovate.</p><ul><li>Develop new ideas for robots that excite customers in their homes and gardens</li><li>Design and realize beyond state of the art robotic systems.</li><li>Work within a research and engineering team to develop semantic SLAM and 3D scene understanding for mobile robot navigation in C++ and Python.</li><li>Engage with the scientific research community.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong>excellent degree (PhD or Master) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field</li><li><strong>Personality:</strong> strong problem solving skills and ability to understand scientific papers, convincing personality combined with high commitment and team spirit, strong communication and presentation skills</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge: </strong>outstanding knowledge of simultaneous localization and mapping, additionally knowledge in any of the following: pointcloud data processing, object detection / tracking, state estimation, visual or semantic SLAM, excellent software development and coding skills in C++ and Python, practical experience with robot systems and implementing algorithms on mobile robots with sensors such as lidars, stereo or RGB(-D) cameras, odometry, IMUs, Linux and ROS / ROS2 knowhow including testing (simulation, real robots) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Cloud), academic experience and/or a solid engineering background with hands-on experience in designing and developing autonomous systems</li><li><strong>Languages:</strong> proficiency in English; German is a plus</li></ul><p>Please submit all relevant documents (incl. curriculum vitae, certificates).</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p><a href="http://www.bosch.com/research">www.bosch.com/research </a></p><p>Apply now in just 3 minutes!</p><p>You want to work remotely or part-time - we offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models.
