Ory is an IT start-up founded in 2019 that promotes an open, diverse, agile and collaborative working culture. </p><br><h1>About this Role</h1><p>As a frontend developer at Ory, you’ll be responsible for creating the best possible experience for users of the Ory Network. You’ll apply your knowledge of UI/UX principles to create software that other developers enjoy using.</p><br><h1>Key Tasks and Deliverables</h1><p></p><ul><li>Write code for web-based applications, creating fast, easy-to-use, high-volume traffic applications.</li><li>Develop, create and improve code in an agile environment within the team.</li><li>Share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and customers.</li><li>Optimize web applications to maximize speed, scale, and support for diverse clients and devices.</li><li>Create readable and maintainable code, and ensure the highest quality by providing E2E test support. </li><li>Build libraries, frameworks, and documentation empowering developers around the globe.</li><li>Design and implement simple intuitive user interfaces in partnership with designers.</li><li>Create frontend experience by interacting with backend systems.</li></ul><br><h1>Minimum Requirements</h1><p></p><ul><li>You studied Computer Science, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.</li><li>You’re a web-native developer well-versed in TypeScript or JavaScript</li><li>You have knowledge of React or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue</li><li>You´ll take ownership and provide support for other developers</li><li>You care about the user experience and you know how to put this into practice</li><li>It is ok for you to work 4 days a week from the office in Munich on average</li></ul><br><h1>Mindset</h1><p></p><ul><li>Will - a desire to excel, act with courage, persevere, learn and innovate</li><li>Cultural fit - align with Ory’s core values (think big - move fast, passion &amp; excellence, innovation, customer centricity, respect)</li><li>Results-oriented - deliver on our KPI’s / desired outcomes</li></ul><br><h1>Why Ory?</h1><p></p><ul><li>Be part of an international, fast-growing, equity and open source-based infrastructure provider</li><li>Take on responsibility and shape things right from the start</li><li>Work in a flat organisational structure</li><li>Work with high quality technical equipment</li><li>Work in a very modern, open space and collaborative office in Munich with very good public transportation connection</li><li>30 days of vacation</li></ul><br><h1>Contact Information</h1><p>We are looking for people with passion, curiosity, and integrity.
