As a member of the Platform Engineering Leadership team, you will help us define our long-term roadmap, aligning technical direction and setting priorities to ensure a positive and impactful developer experience.</div></div><div><div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><ul><li>Motivate and grow a team of junior and senior engineers via 1:1s, mentoring, development talks, training and feedback.</li><li>Create a high performing and sustainable work environment with a culture of excellence.</li><li>Provide the technical direction to your team to build tools and frameworks that accelerate productivity across RGs Engineering teams.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Data and Engineering to set a roadmap and priority for your team.</li><li>Help the team manage healthy levels of technical debt and knowledge risk.</li><li>Be ready to step in and contribute hands-on to reach our goals.</li></ul></ul></div></div><div><div><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><ul><li>Leadership experience within DevOps, platform or development teams, preferably in the role of an Engineering Manager (people, delivery, and hiring).</li><li>Track record on growing, coaching, motivating and mentoring both junior as well as senior engineers.</li><li>Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery platforms, databases, microservices architectures, web infrastructure and developer tooling is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong English communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.</li></ul></ul></div></div><div><div><b>Life at ResearchGate </b></div><div><br></div><div>You'll be working in an open and empowered company culture, with the chance to individually shape your professional development and growth.
