Job Description
- Define the future of our Order Management stream within our e-commerce platform by collaborating with analysts, stakeholders and our UX/UI department to transform ideas and business goals into an actionable KPI-driven roadmap with clear focus
- You’ll be diving into typical order management funnel topics in the e-commerce context: be responsible for the entire order processing, the shopping cart and the final checkout, business processes and API connections to ERP and other systems as well as the connection to our fulfillment service provider
- Define and maintain your domain roadmap and strike the right balance between business requirements, fast value delivery and technological excellence
- Keep your domain roadmap aligned with other projects, other streams in the Webshop area and their product owners and respective dependences
- You integrate, run and drive modern product development alongside a product discovery and design thinking processes to create the best value for our customers and the company by solving problems not just JIRA tickets
- Clarify and prioritize requirements and make sure that stories are refined to the point where our engineers have clear goals, precise understanding of the topic and acceptance criteria to deliver on
- You understand, define and monitor the KPIs, business and technical metrics of your domain to ensure the success of your product domain
- You proactively drive the growth scenario for your domain responsibility and the corresponding KPIs
- Reporting line: Teamlead Product Webshop > Director Webshop > CCO
Qualifications
- Strong communication, planning and coordination skills – keep the overview
- Good knowledge and proven experience in working with software development teams, preferably on web applications
- Experience with working in agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
- Experience in coordinating complex product development cycles
- Willingness to acquire additional system/technical/process knowledge as needed
- Fluent communication in English. Ability to communicate in German is a plus, but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a product owner role preferably with business focus and coming from a value- and customer-driven environment
- Experience in the industry sectors e-commerce, voucher/gift business or retail order and fulfillment processes is a big bonus
