We're growing fast and always pushing ourselves to do better - we play for #1.</p><p>In your role as a <strong>Software Engineer - Golang (m/f/d)</strong>, you will have the opportunity to shape how our customers find their groceries by providing them with an amazing experience.</p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><ul><li>Help the team with building services and feature development across Flink’s web and mobile app ecosystem targeting international users across Flink’s shops, warehouses, and delivery workforce;</li><li>Take part in the discussion and planning of our platform development and microservices architecture;</li><li>Closely collaborate with other teams to deliver value to the end user;</li><li>Drive and own the application lifecycle from inception through to production, supporting business-critical applications and services;</li><li>Be proactive towards adapting and experimenting with new technologies;</li><li>Contribute to scaling up the web team and bringing great talents onboard by conducting interviews and code pairing sessions.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>Experience building scalable and reliable large-scale applications;</li><li>2 years of commercial experience with Golang;</li><li>Comfortable with event-based communication between microservices;</li><li>Familiar with common monitoring/alerting / logging tools such as - Stackdriver, Datadog, NewRelic, Prometheus, ELK);</li><li>Experienced with SQL databases (NoSQL is nice to have);</li><li>Experience using cloud provider platforms like GCP or AWS, and deploying distributed services to Kubernetes.
