Job Objective
As a Machine Learning Engineer in the SSU, you are working on the edge of what technology let’s us do. You are contributing to the generation of new business models as well as automating processes from a data perspective.

Machine learning is a front runner and does not only support by applying standard methodologies of machine learning and statistics but rather has a creative mind to develop new products. You are in the role of challenging the daily business from a process and product perspective. Your expertise and knowledge add value across all businesses.
You are working closely with data scientists, data engineers and data analysts who are providing you with high-performance data pipelines and fantastic discovery as well as business insights within a state-of-the-art tech stack. Of course, you are equipped with the possibilities to discover and treat the data in the greatest way.
Job Description
The data analyst in the SSU is a unique, analytical and collaborative role. You are working at the forefront connecting the business department with data and tech. Your challenging character transfers to your analysis and you do continuously challenge the business from an operational as well as managing perspective. This is a trigger for innovation! The most important of you role is that you a super curious adaptive learner who is continuously seeking for new experiences.
You are working closely with all members of the Data & Science team as well as business owners together. You are assisting in translating requirements in both directions from the business to the data domain and vice versa. Your analysis will support the end user to learn from data and automate and you will support the end user within your team to develop skills of how to learn from data. Furthermore, you will support the management of the Data & Science area with essential communications on the data topics to the whole organization. You are collecting information of project requirements, supporting to build and grow customer relationships as well as distributing the success stories.
You are working in an environment of a highly motivated team who wants to make a difference. You will contribute to creating and shaping a highly flexible analytics platform which uses state-ofthe-art technologies as well as giving space for standalone apps.
Key roles and responsabilities
• Create presentations to communicate the organization and moderate the Data & Analytics round table
• Identify success stories and prepare the distribution to relevant stakeholders
• Contribute and manage the preparation of team or company events
• Creating reports, in-depth analysis as well as designing standalone analytics products
• Improving and monitoring data quality.
• Identifying bottlenecks and recommending actions
• Work in expert as well as cross-functional teams and challenge yourself and others
• Build analytical tools to test and maintain quality of the data pipelines in order to achieve great usability, customer acquisition as well as operational efficiency
• Building the foundation of ML/AI applications having the ability to participate in ML activities
Qualifications
• Hands-on, customer and quality-centric mentality.
• Work together with the team to learn how to communicate, present and collect information to and from business stakeholders across hierarchies. And translate business requirements as well as technical requirements into nontechnical, lay terms.
• Knowledgeable on database design, SQL, Python and statistics.
• Experience with algorithms, standard data science and infrastructure deployment frameworks
• Flexible and creative analysis in order to point out the true root cause or source
• Studies in communications, literature, creative or in computer sciences, mathematics, natural sciences
• Beneficial skills are: o Experience in various analytics platform (i.e. Tableau, Celonis) o Experience in using relevant AWS services o Experience in workflow tools as well as the deployment of the pipelines o Strong skills in project management and communication as well as the ability to understand organizational relations
