Ory is an IT start-up founded in 2019 that promotes an open, diverse, agile and collaborative working culture. </p><br><h1>About this Role</h1><p></p><p>This role is responsible to design, engineer, test, run, automate, and document Ory services in both closed and open source work.</p><br><h1>Key Tasks and Deliverables</h1><p></p><ul><li>Design, build and maintain production code for Ory Cloud and Ory Open Source, creating fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes.</li><li>Collaborate with the Ory Open Source community to build and expand the Ory Open Source ecosystem.</li><li>Devise innovative ideas for solving Ory Cloud customer problems and translate these ideas into technical designs.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and solve end-to-end problems, for instance, software design, efficient implementation, and product offering.</li><li>Write documentation in code and for new user-facing features.</li><li>Mentor more junior software engineers.</li></ul><br><h1>Minimum Requirements</h1><p></p><ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>Experience with Go or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C/C++, C#, Objective-C/Swift, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript.</li><li>Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems.</li><li>Experience working with Kubernetes and other Cloud IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS products.</li><li>Interest in the latest web standards and technologies.</li><li>Commitment to work an average of 4 days a week in the office in Munich </li></ul><br><h1>Mindset</h1><p></p><ul><li>Will - a desire to excel, act with courage, persevere, learn and innovate</li><li>Cultural fit - align with Ory’s core values (think big - move fast, passion &amp; excellence, innovation, customer centricity, respect)</li><li>Results-oriented - deliver on our KPI’s / desired outcomes</li></ul><br><h1>Why Ory?</h1><p></p><ul><li>Be part of an international, fast-growing, equity and open source-based infrastructure provider</li><li>Take on responsibility and shape things right from the start</li><li>Work in a flat organisational structure</li><li>Work with high quality technical equipment</li><li>Work in a very modern, open space and collaborative office in Munich with very good public transportation connection</li><li>30 days of vacation</li></ul><br><h1>Contact Information</h1><p>If you have questions or feedback regarding this position you can contact us via Mail hr@ory.sh​.</p></div>
