The System Architecture is part of the R&amp;D platform development, defining the core functionality for our future products. With teams at all R&amp;D sites of WS Audiology, the System Architecture orchestrates the alignment of different experts, wishes, restrictions, and needs. The Hearing Instrument Architecture team in Erlangen is focusing hereby mostly on the several players within the hearing aid like firmware, ASICs, and interfaces. <h2>What you will do</h2>As System Engineer (m/f/d) for Wireless Communication&nbsp;in the Hearing Instrument Architecture department (temp for 2 years), you will be involved in several topics regarding Bluetooth communication like concept definition, feature optimization and mainly problem analysis. You will work closely with experts from several R&amp;D departments like firmware, ASIC, SW, and App development. Some of them are distributed over multiple geographical locations, for instance Lynge, Denmark, or Singapore.You will report to the Head of Platform Achitecture in Erlangen.In this role you will have the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Complaint and root cause analysis for Bluetooth related communication issues</li><li>Testing, documenting and retesting of identifies and fixed issues</li><li>Defining concepts for bug fixes, optimizations, or new functionality together with cross-functional expert teams</li><li>Maintaining the test tool landscape for the wireless communication</li></ul> <h2>What you bring</h2>We expect you to have hands-on experience in Bluetooth communication ideally in Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth Classic. Additionally, you are a team player, who seeks design feedback and engage in constructive discussions with your colleagues. Creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are part of your strengths.You most likely fit the following profile:<ul><li>University degree in Electronics, Communication Technology or similar</li><li>Project experience with BT classic and BLE communication</li><li>Experience in wireless communication testing like air tracing (Frontline)</li></ul>Our corporate language is English, so you need to be confident in English, both verbally and in writing.<h4> </h4><h2>What we offer</h2>We are driven by innovation and development so working with us is a constant learning curve.
