We continuously search for motivated students who push the bleeding edge of scientific innovation in network technology. Together with us, you investigate how to guarantee quality of service requirements of Industry 4.0 applications.</p><ul><li>On this job, you will obtain an overview of common practical approaches on future wireless technologies and cloud computing.</li><li>In addition, you will evaluate and optimize selected approaches and algorithms (e.g., 2d/3d localization, data transmission, integrating sensing into communication).</li><li>Last but not least, you will implement selected approaches as proof-of-concept prototypes.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong>studies in the field of Computer Science or comparable</li><li><strong>Personality: </strong>pronounced analytic skills</li><li><strong>Working Practice: </strong>precisely, distinctively well-structured, self-directed and goal-oriented</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> comprehensive and extensive knowledge on several of the following subjects: localization, routing, IP, network virtualization, cloud computing, cloud orchestration, Linux administration, wireless networks as well as proven relevant experience in programming with Python, Java, C++ or any other OOP language, ideally some experience in one of the following fields: network administration, edge computing, OMNeT++, NS3 or Winprop</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p><strong>Start:</strong> according to prior agreement<br>
<strong>Duration:</strong> 6 months</p><p>According to prior agreement it is possible to prepare a Master thesis following the internship.</p><p>Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university.
