This individual will oversee our quality assurance efforts and ensure that we maintain the highest standards of product quality for one of our key domains.</p><p>The <strong>QA Engineering Manager</strong> will play a crucial role in transitioning our quality assurance practices from traditional manual testing to an automation-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, as well as experience in supervising and managing QA teams, and in establishing and refining automation frameworks.</p><ul><li>Be a part of an agile leadership team and work closely with them to ensure our teams are delivering with high quality.</li><li>Work with the Product teams and leads of one of our domains to establish quality standards, develop test plans and deliver ensure quality throughout the whole process.</li><li>Work with Product owners and developers to improve the overall experience by suggesting improvements and changes.</li><li>Align and collaborate with the rest of the quality team to improve the overall quality of our products, assess risks, promote consistency, identify common needs.</li><li>Develop test strategies for automation both for backend and frontend.</li><li>Help to define the good monitoring to ensure the quality of the project on stage and production.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, providing guidance, training and feedback.</li><li>Drive with your analytical way of thinking.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><p><strong>About you</strong></p><ul><li>Solid experience as the Lead in the Quality Assurance field, with Web and mobile applications.</li><li>Practical experience creating and maintaining UI automation tests and API tests and working with agile methodologies.</li><li>Practical experience with object mappings and versioning is an advantage.</li><li>Automation experience using test tools like Cypress, XCUITest, Espresso, WebdriverIO or similar frameworks.</li><li>You are comfortable reading and writing code in at least one programming language, ideally JavaScript or TypeScript.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.</li><li>Familiarity with performance test tools.</li><li>A proactive team player approach - being able to analyze the risk and impact of issues and is work with the team to prioritize and resolve them.</li><li>Any experience with performance, GDPR, accessibility, interoperability and security testing is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>ISTQB Test Manager Certification.</li><li>Fluency in French language will be an added advantage.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p><strong>About us</strong></p><p>At AVIV, we are an equal opportunities employer and an organisation where everyone is welcomed to be their authentic selves.
