<div><h2>Project description:</h2> <p>In this role, you will work as part of an integrated project team focused on custom electronics development. This position contributes to the development, certification and delivery of electronic systems for a next generation electrical aircraft design.</p> <h2>Tasks:</h2> <ul> <li>Define, verify and validate hardware requirements in terms of function, safety and performance</li> <li>Actively participate in the definition of the processes and tools for the design and development of the hardware</li> <li>Implement the product development cycle in accordance with the guidelines of RTCA/DO-254</li> <li>Design electronic hardware in accordance with RTCA/DO-160 and industry standards</li> <li>Assist in embedded software development and system integration</li> <li>Lead technical presentations, product evaluations and benchmarks</li> </ul> <h2>Skills:</h2> <ul> <li><p>M.Sc. in electrical engineering/electronics or a comparable education</p> </li> <li><p>At least 3 years of professional experience in the development and verification of aerospace hardware (digital &amp; mixed-signal)</p> </li> <li><p>Good knowledge of the hardware development lifecycle according to DO-254 and DO-160</p> </li> <li><p>Experience in FPGA design and verification</p> </li> <li><p>Good knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics or equivalent</p> </li> <li><p>Experience with grounding, shielding and EMC design techniques</p> </li> <li><p>Hands-on experience in designing verification plans and test cases and implementing testbenches</p> </li> <li><p>Experience with integration and debugging of safety critical electronic systems</p> </li> <li><p>Fluency in English </p> <p>another plus would be:</p> </li> <li><p>Experience with safety critical applications and hardware protection/monitoring architectures</p> </li> <li><p>Knowledge of safety and reliability processes, e.g., FTA and FME(C)A, derating analysis; DFM / DFT; mechanical packaging; thermal and cooling design</p> </li> <li><p>Fluency in German or other languages</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li>Company pension plan &amp; capital-forming benefits</li> <li>30 days vacation and flexible holiday planning</li> <li>Regular team events</li> <li>Award as Kununu TOP Company</li> <li>Corporate Benefits</li> <li>Free beverages</li> <li>Individual further education</li> <li>360° Support: feedback meetings, career planning, relocation support, etc.</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> </ul></div>
