<div><h2>Project description:</h2> <p>We are looking for a Systems Engineer - EPS (m/f/x) in the safety-critical aviation environment. We are looking forward to your application!</p> <h2>Tasks:</h2> <ul> <li>Develop electrical architecture for high voltage energy storage systems with a focus on requirements gathering, electromechanical design, and electrical integration up to 1000 VDC</li> <li>Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including electrical engineers, aerostructural designers, and software developers to ensure smooth integration of energy storage, power conversion, and power distribution into the eVTOL platform</li> <li>Plan and execute electrical power system integration testing in our labs and onboard the aircraft to validate system performance and safety</li> <li>Implement stringent safety measures and perform risk assessments, particularly related to high voltage distribution and high power lithium batteries, to ensure the highest safety standards are met</li> <li>Documentation and reporting: prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications and reports</li> <li>Present findings and recommendations to interdisciplinary stakeholders and authorities as required</li> </ul> <h2>Skills:</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in a relevant engineering field, such as electrical engineering, physics, or a similar field</li> <li>At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical systems integration and testing</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of electrical power systems, including battery design, vehicle electric drives, lithium batteries, high and low voltage distribution, conversion, protection circuits, battery management, and charging techniques</li> <li>Familiarity with environmental electromagnetic effects and experience with environmental testing</li> <li>Knowledge of systems engineering and functional safety guidelines for aerospace or similar safety critical applications</li> <li>Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li>Company pension plan &amp; capital-forming benefits</li> <li>30 days vacation and flexible holiday planning</li> <li>Regular team events</li> <li>Award as Kununu TOP Company</li> <li>Corporate Benefits</li> <li>Free beverages</li> <li>Individual further education</li> <li>360° Support: feedback meetings, career planning, relocation support, etc.</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> </ul></div>
