Currently, we are searching for an experienced &amp; passionate Senior PHP Softwarecrafter (m/f/d) for our Payment Team.</p><p> </p><p>The Payment team is responsible for the complete payment lifecycle, from customers first placing their orders within the Checkout to handling the refund of a returned item weeks later. Between these two points, the team interacts with a multitude of internal and external players, spanning from internal business to other tech teams and multiple payment providers in a variety of countries. The applications the Payment team maintains span from high traffic &amp; fault tolerance API hubs to security-conscious and reliable backend processing engines.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain robust PHP applications within the payment lifecycle</li><li>Work closely with legacy code, improving and refactoring to enhance scalability and maintainability.</li><li>Ensure all code meets high-quality standards and adheres to best practices, contributing to a sustainable development pace</li></ul><p><strong>Who you are</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 4 years experience with PHP or a comparable object-oriented language such as Java, Ruby, and C#.</li><li>Furthermore, the willingness to work with PHP (We use PHP 8.3)</li><li>Practical experience developing REST APIs</li><li>Experience working with RDBMS such as MySQL / PostgreSQL</li><li>Previous experience with git</li><li>Experience in writing tests</li><li>Self-motivated and responsible working</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with messaging systems like SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.</li><li>Experience in TDD</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>YOU ARE THE CORE OF SCAYLE.</strong></p><p>We take responsibility for creating an inclusive and exceptional environment where all genders, nationalities and ethnicities feel welcomed and accepted exactly as they are.
