In four years, we've raised over 300 million euros in funding and helped people reclaim more than one billion euros.</p> <h2>Your challenge:</h2> <p>As Taxfix’s Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure and Security, you will manage the engineering team managing and owning Taxfix’s infrastructure and security setup.</p> <ul> <li>Site Reliability Engineering</li> <li>Infrastructure</li> <li>Security</li> <li>DevOps practices</li> </ul> <p>In this role you will take an essential role in building Taxfix’s tech-infrastructure to achieve a scalable, secure, and efficient setup for long-term growth. You will work alongside other engineering managers to facilitate efficient, secure and fail-safe deployments of their apps and software to reliable, scalable, and approachable infrastructure. </p> <h2>Your responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li>Hire, lead and nurture the Infrastructure and Product Security engineering teams to ensure timely and high quality delivery</li> <li>Take ownership for Taxfix’s server setup (its health), CI, CD, automation and deployment setups</li> <li>Control permission setups for all development &amp; business teams for security and traceability</li> <li>Work closely with the Technical Leadership team to align on the engineering KPIs of your team.</li> <li>Own the process for incident response and management</li> <li>Defining and measuring reliability goals—SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets</li> <li>Ensure team process and capability to stay ahead of system capacity demands</li> <li>Support improvements in infrastructure spend efficiency</li> <li>Communicate effectively across all company departments and roles</li> <li>Motivate and guide the team towards excellence</li> <li>Guide the team towards best practices in infrastructure, security, and release velocity</li> </ul> <h2>Your profile:</h2> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of experience in engineering management</li> <li>5+ years of experience in configuration and management of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)</li> <li>At least 1 year with the configuration and administration of GCP</li> <li>You have experience in managing servers and building scalable pipelines</li> <li>You have expertise in deployment tools and platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS</li> <li>You have expertise with Infrastructure as Code principles, particularly with Terraform at scale will be a big plus</li> <li>You have experience managing large infrastructure systems with multiple Kubernetes clusters</li> <li>Be result-oriented - you set clear goals and metrics, shape strategies, and align the team on the right path to success.</li> <li>You are pragmatic - have a strong positive attitude, and you can overcome challenges with passion and creativity</li> </ul> <h2>Why Taxfix?</h2> <ul> <li>A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.</li> <li>Holistic wellbeing with free mental health coaching sessions and yoga.</li> <li>A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and rollover as flexibly as you like.</li> <li>Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.</li> <li>Dedicated relocation and visa support for those that need it.</li> <li>30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.</li> <li>Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year.
