Job Description

Our department Purchasing of Logistics Services at the Stuttgart-Feuerbach location is responsible for the strategic and operational purchasing of transport and storage services as well as packaging materials within Robert Bosch GmbH. This applies to all types of freight (air, sea, land, parcel, express, charter) warehousing services and packaging materials. From Stuttgart, we manage global buyers and set global strategies. Our field of work is characterized by a high degree of internationality, diversity and a large number of interfaces to our internal and external business partners.

  • During your assignment, you will support the further development of purchasing and supplier strategies as well as in the cooperation in international tenders.
  • You will assist in strategic projects, e.g. global framework agreements, purchasing processes, inquiries from the EU Competition Commission on planned mergers in the transport industry.
  • Independent projects in the area of purchasing processes, purchasing controlling and in the development of standards will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Furthermore, you will prepare transport and cost analyses and support our global and regional buyers in Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and India,
  • You will also work on project management incl. preparation of management reviews, supplier appointments, etc. and you will support our digitalization strategy.
  • Last but not least, your job will also include the development of automated purchasing processes (Robotic Process Automation).

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the field of Purchasing, Logistics or Material Flow
  • Experience and Knowledge: safe handling of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), experience in purchasing, logistics or material flow
  • Personality and Working Practice: independent, structured and conscientious working style, good communication skills, flexible and resilient
  • Enthusiasm: enjoy working in a young team and taking on new challenges
  • Languages: good in German and English

Additional Information

Start: September 2023 Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
