Carbyne Stack development provides many opportunities for talented students to leverage their existing skills and develop new ones. Some examples where your contributions would be greatly appreciated are:</p><ul><li>Designing and implementing new features and microservices for the Carbyne Stack platform using cloud-native technology in the backend, client libraries, or the Command Line Interface (CLI).</li><li>Enhance and extend our existing CI/CD infrastructure to build and deploy Carbyne Stack in an automated and reproducible manner.</li><li>Develop and test Infrastructure-as-Code machinery to deploy Carbyne Stack to major public clouds.</li><li>In addition, we are very open to your ideas on how to further improve Carbyne Stack.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education</strong>: studies in the field of Information Technology or comparable</li><li><strong>Personality and Working Practice: </strong>responsible, self-motivated, innovative and team-minded</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge: </strong>proficient in Java (ideally with Spring) and/or Go; experience with the following cloud-native technologies for orchestration (Kubernetes including Kubebuilder/Operator SDK), networking (Istio), serverless computing (Knative), authentication and authorization (e.g., Open Policy Agent, Dex), monitoring (Prometheus), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm); having worked on open source projects and with public clouds (Azure, AWS) before is a plus. Most likely, you do not meet all of the above requirements. That is not a problem!
