Focusing on the most upfront part of the customer journey. </p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><p>We’re Looking for a <strong>Hands-On</strong> <strong>Manager/Tech-lead </strong> who has strong leadership and technical background. You will play a critical role in leading and managing one cross-functional team. You will report to the Head of Engineering in your pillar/domain. </p><p>You will work closely with your peers, including product management, design, project managers, and agile coaches to drive the successful execution of our product roadmap. In a <strong>dual role</strong> like this, you will have the opportunity to work hands on as a Developer and also work on shaping the engineering culture, establish best practices, and mentor and grow talented engineers while holding them accountable to deliver against our product roadmap on time or ahead of schedule.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>As an Engineering Manager (50%) </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence</li><li><strong>Project Management</strong>: Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects while managing resources effectively</li><li><strong>Performance Management:</strong> Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for your team members</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Communication:</strong> Effectively communicate technical plans, progress, and challenges to senior management and other stakeholders</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>As a Developer (50%)</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hands on: </strong>Act as a hands-on Engineer by contributing code, prototypes, and technical solutions when necessary</li><li><strong>Technical Strategy:</strong> Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and execute the technical strategy aligned with our current roadmap</li><li><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong> Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, assisting them in solving complex problems and driving technical excellence. </li></ul><p><strong>Tech Stack:</strong></p><ul><li>AWS Services: API Gateway, Lambda, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, Fargate ECS</li><li>Event-Driven Architecture</li><li>TypeScript</li><li>React / NextJS / Design System /</li><li>GitHub</li><li>CircleCI</li><li>Terraform</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>At least 5 years' experience as a software engineer. (preferably Tech-lead/Senior Engineer).</li><li>Expertise in TypeScript.</li><li>Proficiency in Git, Docker, CircleCI, and AWS.</li><li>Full-stack experience with React and backend TypeScript.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Clean Architecture principle.</li><li>C# is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.</li><li>Understanding of the importance of Core Web Vitals. </li><li>Stakeholders management and project planning skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English, French is a plus. </li><li>This role is open for Germany and France.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p><strong>Next steps</strong></p><p>Unlock your perfect job with us today and make an application.
