For innovating sustainable, safe and fascinating solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.</p><ul><li>As applications and support engineer you are driving the advanced development and implementation of concepts and methods for the LINUX-based IT Infrastructure in the ASIC development for use in Automotive Electronics (Servers, Compute Farm, ETX, VMWare-ESX and Storages).</li><li>Also, you ensure the operation and support of our Linux IT Infrastructure System in strong collaboration with other departments for ASIC Design Development world-wide. You work as part of the CAD- and IT- team to support all Bosch ASIC designers world-wide to guarantee and improve the stability of the HW and SW environment.</li><li>Moreover, you will lead concept developments, (incl. the decision memos) guide the IT team and drive the implementation of cross-departmental IT infrastructure systems in globally networked business units to improve ASIC design development capabilities, considering user requirements.</li><li>In addition, you advise, specify, and develop new IT solutions and enhancements. You will also implement script-based software solutions (UNIX/LINUX, ...) to improve the functionality, stability, and availability of the ASIC development environment.</li><li>You are responsible for the pilot operation, release and quality assurance of our IT systems.</li><li>Finally, you collaborate closely with central IT and introduce further security standards.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in computer science, electrical engineering with experience in computer science or a comparable course of studies</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge:</strong><strong> </strong>At least 5 years of professional experience especially in knowledge of Unix/Linux administration and shell script programming (csh, sh, ksh, bash, TCL/TK); Knowledge of common Admin tools and applications for connecting different IT infrastructures; Experience in support of HW, storage and virtual environments (ESX server)</li><li><strong>Personality and Working Practice: </strong>You are flexible and responsible; Your abilities include being a team player, being persuasive and committed</li><li><strong>Languages:</strong> business fluent English and German</li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Additional Information</h2></div><div><p>You want to work remotely or part-time - we offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models or job-sharing.
