<div><h2>Project description:</h2> <p>We are looking for a performance engineer to work on a next-gen airborne electrical powertrain in a multidiciplinary project team. You are passionate about aviation and developing technologies for future mobility concepts? We are looking forward to your application!</p> <h2>Tasks:</h2> <ul> <li>Define and support system validation activities including certification (EASA SC E19 subpart D)</li> <li>Close cooperation with the test engineers, simulation engineers and electrical machine experts</li> <li>Support propulsion unit or engine test preparation and commissioning activities</li> <li>Drive day to day decisions to ensure quick execution of tests and on-time delivery of results</li> <li>Derivation of datasets for a given test configuration: model development, derivation of operating points and timely release of required data for the different teams</li> <li>Provide detailed reports for certification purposes</li> </ul> <h2>Skills:</h2> <ul> <li><p>University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering</p> </li> <li><p>3-5 years experience as performance engineer involved in test campaigns for R&amp;D, validation and verification on electrical powertrain</p> </li> <li><p>Able to coordinate tasks and interface with complex multidisciplinary team to deliver project (production, test engineers, specialists)</p> </li> <li><p>Strong problem solving and decision making skills including past experience in root-cause analysis activities</p> </li> <li><p>Very good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink</p> </li> <li><p>High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomous</p> </li> <li><p>Fluent english skills </p> <p>also a plus would be:</p> </li> <li><p>Knowledge in the area of electrical machine development</p> </li> <li><p>Fluent German skills</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li>Company pension plan &amp; capital-forming benefits</li> <li>30 days vacation and flexible holiday planning</li> <li>Regular team events</li> <li>Award as Kununu TOP Company</li> <li>Corporate Benefits</li> <li>Free beverages</li> <li>Individual further education</li> <li>360° Support: feedback meetings, career planning, relocation support, etc.</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> </ul></div>
