You will find yourself in a modern software engineering environment, working in a cross-functional agile team, using microservices architecture built in Go hosted on Google Cloud Platform. </p></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Job Description</h2></div><div><p>Our Dispatching System is the heart and brain of our order fulfillment process. The system automatically manages the packing and riding of tens of thousands of orders in 3 countries daily. We are on a mission to give people back time, so our backend engineers are continuously improving optimization algorithms to reduce delivery time while increasing our operational efficiency. As a Senior Software engineer, you will ship your code using Kubernetes and monitor using DataDog.</li><li>Our Tech Stack<ul><li>Backend: Go</li><li>Frontend: TypeScript and ReactJS</li><li>Infra: Kubernetes, Redis, PostgreSQL, Google Pub/Sub and Commercetools </li><li>Cloud: GCP</li></ul></li></ul></div></section><section><div><p></p><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>Experience building scalable and reliable large-scale applications.</li><li>5 years of commercial experience as a Senior Engineer with expertise in G, Java, TypeScript or other OO or functional languages</li><li>You have familiarity with optimization algorithms or techniques, and in particular with the challenges of applying them in real-world settings. </li><li>You will have previous experience of architectural input into the design and build of a backend application/product/feature.</li><li>Comfortable with event-based communication between microservices.</li><li>Familiarity with data storage and message brokering tools such as Google Pub/Sub, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.</li><li>Experience using cloud provider platforms like GCP or AWS, and deploying distributed services to Kubernetes.
